Running Pogly instead of a plain browser source? Import the widget directly.
Pogly is a browser-based overlay editor. Import the JSON below to add Clips Player as a full-screen 1920×1080 widget layer. After import, update the channel variable to your Twitch channel name.
If you entered your channel name and selected a period in the setup step above, they will already be pre-filled in the import.
Moderators and the broadcaster can control the overlay from Twitch chat.
| Command | Who | What It Does |
|---|---|---|
!skipclip |
Mods & broadcaster | Skip the current clip and advance to the next one immediately. |
!reshuffleclips |
Mods & broadcaster | Randomly shuffle the clip order and restart from a new clip 1. All overlay instances resync instantly. |
The widget automatically plays your top 60 most-viewed clips. You can remove specific clips from appearing by deleting or hiding them on your Twitch channel dashboard.
Make sure the browser source URL uses overlay.glitchstudios.dev as the domain - Twitch embeds will only play on the domain they're authorised for. If the clip was deleted from your Twitch channel it won't be included next time the list refreshes.
On load the overlay fetches the clip list from Twitch, then loads the first clip into an embed iframe. A loading screen is shown in the meantime.
The overlay loops back to the first clip and continues cycling indefinitely.
