What Makes It Fun

Everything runs automatically once the browser source is added to OBS.

📊

7 Categories

YouTube subscribers, world population, box office gross, Instagram followers, Spotify listeners, game sales, and celebrity net worth.

🔁

Auto-Rotating

The game picks a different category each session and auto-advances through rounds. No commands, no configuration, no manual triggering.

🏆

Live Leaderboard

A leaderboard updates after every round showing top scorers. Resets automatically when the session ends.

⏱️

20-Second Timer

Chat has 20 seconds to vote per round. The timer bar counts down live on the overlay so viewers always know how much time is left.

Instant Feedback

When the timer ends, the real value is revealed. Correct voters get a point. Wrong guesses are struck through on the overlay.

🎮

Hands-Free

Rounds cycle on their own. Just add the browser source, enter your channel, and the game runs itself for your entire stream.

2

Add a Browser Source in OBS

Create a new Browser Source and paste the URL above.

  • Width: 680px
  • Height: 520px

Use With Pogly

Running Pogly instead of a plain browser source? Import the widget directly.

Pogly is a browser-based overlay editor. Import the JSON below to add Higher or Lower as a 680×520 widget layer. After import, update the channel variable to your Twitch channel name.

If you entered your channel name in the setup step above, it will already be pre-filled in the import.

How Chat Plays

No setup needed for viewers - just type in chat.

  1. The overlay shows a reference item with its stat visible (e.g. PewDiePie - 111M subscribers).
  2. A second item appears with its stat hidden. Chat types higher or lower - one vote per round.
  3. After 20 seconds the real value is revealed. Correct voters earn a point.
  4. The leaderboard updates live. Rounds cycle automatically through up to 8 comparisons.
  5. A new category is picked automatically for the next game session.

Tip: Any message starting with higher or lower counts - punctuation and extra words are ignored. So higher!, HIGHER lol, and lower? all register correctly.

YouTube subscribers, world population, box office gross, Instagram followers, Spotify monthly listeners, all-time game sales, and celebrity net worth. Categories rotate automatically between games.
